Angels

Today is the day the church remembers and gives thanks for angels. There is a lot of misinformation in the world about angels. Angels are not beautiful women or chubby-cheeked babies - they are warriors! They are servants of God who protect us from the evil angels who want to do us harm. That doesn't mean there won't be evil in our world, but it does mean there would be a whole lot more without them. 

Angels sometimes bring messages from God, but we do not pray to angels, only to God. We do not worship angels, only God. We do not become angels when we die - that would be a step down! Angels serve us. And today we give thanks for that. For the angels we cannot see now, but we will when we join them in heaven for eternity.
